Semliki National Park is located in the south western part of Uganda. It's clearly seen at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains. Semliki has rare species of birds that include the yellow-throated Nicater, Grey-throated rail, Black-throated Coucal and the Congo Serpent eagle. Birdwatchers that have visited Semlike have enjoyed trailing through the best spotting area where birds are easily seen.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is discovered in the western part of Uganda and it's an amazing spot for birding. Its vegetation ranges from savanna to lowland forests. The park has over 600 bird species and it's the largest area in East Africa that is well protected. Several birds discovered in the park are known as prominent birds of East Africa and are a must see for all bird lovers in Africa. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated on the border of the western rift valley and surrounded by the Democratic Republic of Congo and Virunga National Park. Its covers an area of about 331 sq kilometers of dense forest. Bwindi is the Birdwatcher's haven, It has over 348 species of birds including the Albertine rift Endemic species for instance White Blue Monarch, Dusky Crimson Wing, Wilcock's Honey-guide, Short-tailed Warbler, Rusty-faced woodland Warbler, Bar-tailed Trogon, Gruel's Rush Warbler and many others.
