0 What Does Spain Have To Offer For British People?

With August gone, it's time-for the luckiest- to go on holiday. And Spain is one of the most likely countries to be chosen when British people travel abroad. Here we underline a number of reasons why Spain is so attractive as a holiday destination.

Spain's most popular attractions are the sun, beaches and food, but actually there are many other things that tourists discover and enjoy when they choose this Mediterranean country. For instance, during the months of July, August and September there are many events full of Spanish tradition. The best known might be "Los San Fermines" in the city of Pamplona on the 7th of July until mid-July. When the city dresses in red and white, the running of the bulls takes places every morning for 8 days. Another well-known event that is also full of red is "La Tomatina" where people throw 90,000 fresh tomatoes at each other for 11 hours. However, festivities are not limited to the summer months. For instance, during March in Valencia, "Las Fallas se San José is celebrated, where constructions made by local people are burnt in an amazing spectacle. Also in Seville, "La feria de Abril" which happens in April exposes the beautiful side of Spanish musical and dance culture.

Spain has plenty of beaches along the south and east coast where the sun normally shines 5 or 6 months of the year. The most popular destinations in the area are Marbella, Alicante and Benidorm, to name a few. Additionally, the magic of the islands, Canary and Baleares, also attract a wide number of British people. Mallora, Menorca, Ibiza or Formentera are some of the most popular ones. One of the great things about these islands is that they are not very big, so tourists can easily get to know them in a few days. The "calas" or small hidden beaches are amazing for their white sand and blue sea surrounded by nature. Here it is highly recommended to hire a car or rent a van to make sure you don't miss a corner of the island or islands you decide to explore. Also, Valencia or Barcelona on the east coast, are great starting points to visit the islands. You can take the ferryboat with your own car towards Ibiza or Palma de Mallorca.

Furthermore, we cannot picture Spain without its amazing variety of food. The south is popular for its fried fish, not the typical British fish and chips, as well as its fried sea food. In Valencia the most traditional dish is Paella. Moreover, you will also find a typical sweet drink -worth a try- called Horchata, as well as their amazing fruits and vegetables. In Cataluña you can taste a popular soup called Escudella and Botifarra a tasty type of dried sausage. As a dessert, Crema Catalana is a must too. If you decide to go to the capital, Madrid, you can taste a wide variety of tapas made up of typical Spanish dishes such as tortilla de patatas, squid sandwiches, patatas bravas, or Boquerones en vinagre. However, the best tapas can be found in the Basque Countries, where many restaurants have won awards for their exceptional tapas. Also, in the north of Spain seafood is very popular, predominantly in Galicia. In addition to the food, Spain is well known for its high quality wines that are worth trying. So if you want to try all these different cuisines you might want to organize a trip that takes in lots of different Spanish cities. You can check the most popular Spanish destinations or choose a specific area to explore. Your rental car will allow you to discover the essence of this amazing country.

All in all, Spain is a popular holiday destination for British people thanks to its beaches, sun 5 months a year and its quality food. However, having your own car will let you explore and better discover the country. Therefore, check out the flights online as well as the latest car-hire offers, and enjoy your holiday in España.

0 Business or Vacation?

I like to travel and I think a lot of other people also dream of visiting other places. but traveling for pleasure is expensive. Airplane tickets plus accommodation, tours and food. If you sum up these costs it could make you think twice about traveling.

Should I rather save my money and invest it for business or should I enjoy and treat my self for a vacation? If I think long-term then the 1st option seems appropriate but who wouldn't want to enjoy right. I don't want to enjoy only after retirement. Life is short and we must live it. Who knows if I'm still alive tomorrow. But if I do live long and splurge a lot today then my future can be miserable.

What would you do if you have money to spare? Why are there so many choices and questions in life that aren't easily answered?

0 I think I've gotten more judgmental.

When we're young, our impressions of people are formed by the world around us. They are formed by our mothers, fathers, our grandparents, our siblings even. Later, it's formed by teachers, and by our friends. Later then that it's formed by ourselves, by what we see and perceive around us. But even so, it's also formed by the television, by other people as well.

I guess what I want to know, is do you think that you yourself are more judgmental now that your older, and do you become more judgmental with age? Each year that passed, do you find you are scrutinizing others actions, whether it be of family, or of a celebrity?

I'm curious to know what others think about this.

I think I've gotten more judgmental.

0 Making Friends

To make friends is easy but to maintain the friendship is difficult. Well to tell to the fact I do sometimes shy off, it becomes difficult to approach a friend and say hi or hello to her/him. I guess it depends sometime on the upbringing of the child, if the child is brought up in an open minded environment, he finds it very much comfortable making friends but he is brought up with parents who are a bit narrow minded, he finds it really uncomfortable to find friends.

Are you the really friendly guy who interacts with everyone and makes friends instantly? Or are you the guy who shies off and doesn't move for it. As for me I am not the very friendly kinds. It takes me a lot of time finding good friends. So are you good at making friends?

0 Parents

I had seen 2 beautiful women hanging out together and I thought they were sisters or just best friends but the other woman called her mom. Her mom and she look like they were of the same age. I also remember on a talk show there was this guy and his friends mistaken his mom as her girlfriend because she really looks young. I also remember I have an officemate and I had mistaken her dad as her older brother. Don’t you think it’s cool if your parent looks like they were your age? Why do you think they stay young?
