0 I'm bad at explaining things!!!

I Am! I was just responding to a friend's discussion about rook, and I was trying to explain the game of Spades, but I am just terrible at explaining. I hope I was clear enough, but to be honest I'd have to be playing a game of spades to explain better!

I think part of the problem with me and being so bad at explaining things is that I don't always fully understand the thing I am trying to explain. I've always turned to someone else who knows what I mean to explain things for me, My girlfriend has done a lot of explaining or clarifying for me.

It's gotten me into a bit of a mess before. I've gotten people angry too! I feel embarrassed about it, but I usually just get over it, or try to explain it better next time!

So are you bad at explaining things?

Or are you the one who explains?

Are you like a dictionary?

0 Is this all part of our worlds natural evolution

There can be no one who hasn't read or heard on radio or Tv about the environmental problems that the world is facing. Words and phrases like 'global warming', 'carbon footprints' and 'green house effect'are heard constantly.

The recent oil spillage disaster in the Gulf of Mexico shows the problems of our dependence on ever decreasing natural resources for our energy needs. In both the environmental damage caused by pipelines that are situated at depths that are too far down for us to work on repairing them, economic damage from the increased energy prices needed to fund ever more difficult extraction and environmental cleanups on top of the environmental problems created.

Then there are problems like over population, famines and diseases.

Do you think that it is going to be science that will find the answers to these problems and help save the world, or will Nature determine what happens.

Is this all part of our worlds natural evolution, after all over time ice ages have come and gone, continents have shifted thousands of miles and mountain ranges have risen and fell.

What do you think?

0 Real book or Ebook

Today, any kind of story, knowledge, etc can be read on your computer, mobile phone, PDA. I'm used to download free ebook from my favorite sites, but i think reading on the "real book" is more efficient for me. I rather read my books on paper. It is better like that. I don`t have to turn the computer on and look at the screen with it bright light that might be to much to look at. The book you can have with you anymore and does`t need to have energy to read it. But the inconvenient for real books it's that we don't have enough space to keep them all.

I have ebooks on my computer and I do read some of them on the computer, but only if i need some fast info. I don`t read for to long. I rather print them out and read them. So for me book over ebook.

So how about you?

0 I'm looking for movie advice

What would you recommend we get from the movie store? My girlfriend and I are going out with her parents today to celebrate her belated birthday. Her mom asked if I would rather like to go to the movie store to get a movie instead of going to the movie theater and I agreed. So even though there are some good movies out in theaters, I (and my girlfriend) would rather watch some at home. What movies would you recommend for the following genres:

1. Western
2. Romantic
3. Comedy
4. Action

if you can think of a movie that will incorporate if not all, at least two of those genres I would really love to hear it! I appreciate your advice, and I hope that you have a very wonderfully lovely day

as my girlfriend and I always ask. I hope that you will take it seriously!

0 Embarrass

Have you ever tried to right someone's wrong and they just didn't get it? Did you ever use the "embarrass tactic?" By embarrass tactic I mean that you get so frustrated that instead of trying to correct someone's wrong doing or saying you just embarrass them by telling them they're wrong in front of a lot of people in hopes that they will learn their lesson. I can't think of a good example other then to say someone who just doesn't seem to grasp what you are saying but says 'Oh yea I get it. Okay, thank you for telling me this, and I will correct myself in the future" and yet they do the exact same thing over again. It's like burning your hand on a stove burner for the first time, and then doing it again and not learning your lesson.

So do you know anyone like this? Do you just want to scream? Have you tried to embarrass them to make them learn?
