0 I accidentally bought organic cabbage

Have you bought or tried any organic foods?

I'm having my first right now! I accidentally bought organic cabbage. Somehow I thought it was cheaper than regular.. turns out it was about 50 cents per pound more expensive... but I didn't realize that until after I'd paid.

So I made it up with dinner tonight... wow is there a difference! This seems to taste sweet, I know cabbage doesn't normally taste sweet!

I've also bought some organic carrots (not by accident) but I've not tried them yet.

What do you think of organic foods? Do you notice a taste difference?

0 I am looking for some healthy, low fat, cabbage recipes

I am looking for some healthy, low fat, cabbage recipes. What are your favorite ways to have cabbage? How often do you have it?

We don't have it very often, but I'd like to start having it more, like perhaps once a week. But I need some ideas of how to incorporate it into our foods, because eventually plain cabbage will get boring!

I like putting cabbage in soups. It boils down so it goes well in just about any broth soup, just chop it up and throw it in. It blends in nicely. I also cook cabbage in a crock pot with corned beef. Just put in the meat and the meat seasonings, add a little water to the bottom of the crock pot and toss in the cabbage, in a few hours the cabbage will be cooked and broken down and will have taken on the flavor of the corned beer.

Als cabbage rolls are really easy and tasty, take a little cooked rice and cook it in a pan with some cooked ground beef and some tomatoes paste until heated through. Then take nice sized cabbage leaves and wrap spoon fulls of the mixture inside each cabbage leaf and bake until the leaf is tender. Yum, yum.

0 Food food FoOd

However pointless this must be, I do think it'd be a bit fun to see everyone's answers. My husband and I may taco's last night, we ate the taco's, but not all the beef. I was thinking of eating just the beef... This got me to thinking of what other foods like taco's do we eat the center or inside of, missing hamburger buns, or tortilla shells, or what have you.

Let me try to clarify, Taco's and Sloppy Joe's are both items that require a shell or bread. What other foods like this are there out there and have you found yourself with more of the meat (I.e. : ground seasoned beef) for taco's left over, but nothing else to eat with it?

What could I eat with it, we have chips but I don't know that we have corn chips.

0 What do you eat for dinner?

I usually settled for oatmeal and fruits during dinner or may be mostly fruits as it give me much better sleep. There were times when I used to take heavy foods especially during night parties. It would be a horrible night. It’s difficult to sleep.

May be a full stomach would give a bad sleep in my case.

How about you? What food do you consume during dinner - are you able to sleep well.
