0 Siargao Island

Feel the breeze of summer at white-sand beaches deemed as among the world's finest; be fascinated at the spectacular view of Siargao Island; and take a dip in the refreshing waters of modern resort facilities.

Siargao Island

This newly discovered island boasts of white-sand beaches and surfing waves compared to that of Hawaii. Lying 800 kilometers southeast of Manila, the tear-shaped Siargao Island is a perfect haven for the sun, sea, and surf buffs. It lies on the eastern portion of Surigao del Norte and on the southeastern tip of Mindanao. The island is a mass of tropical land with scores of reefs, points and white beaches.

Its promise as a surfing mecca in the making was discovered in 1993 by American surf photographer John Callahan who went to investigate the rumors of spectacular waves in a little known Mindanao town. He came back from his trip armed with stories about the lovely sun-drenched island and documented his find with beautiful photographs.

Siargao opened itself to the international surfing community by playing host to the Siargao Surfing Cup in the municipality of General Luna. Siargao's Cloud Nine break is said to be among the best in the world and foreign sportsmen view "the unparalleled surf of Siargao as a magnet for deep sea fishing, sailing, wind-surfing, kayaking, and sunbathing on miles of white sandy beaches that the reef-ringed island and its rich waters afford the visitor.

0 I encourage you to check and support Walgreens!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Walgreens believes in trying to help families.

Walgreens have come up with their own Prescription Savings Club where it offers a special discount on its annual membership. For just $35 a year, a family membership covers everyone in your immediate family, including a spouse, children ages 22 and younger as well as your beloved pets. If you are single and eager to join Walgreens, you can join for a very affordable $20 membership.

So affordable and you and your family would receive savings on more than 8,000 brand name and all generic medications. Plus more than 400 generics are available with a three-month supply for less than $1 a week. You can also receive discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizers and diabetic supplies. And don’t forget added bonus when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photofinishing services.

Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens is risk free. Why? If for example your savings is lower than the cost of your membership during your term of enrolment, Walgreens will automatically give you the difference.

Be updated and show your support with Walgreens through their social media accounts. Follow Walgreens on Twitter and like Walgreens on Facebook.

0 Show your support for Walgreens

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have Express Scripts drug coverage, and am a loyal Walgreens customer. I am so disappointed to hear that Express Scripts will no longer be allowing their customers to use Walgreens to fill their prescriptions!

Walgreens and Express Scripts have been trying to negotiate their contract for the past year. But on December 31st, the contract expired with no renewal, and both companies will no longer work with each other. These failed negotiations are affecting thousands of customers nationwide.  Express Scripts is forcing its customers to change pharmacies even if the costs are higher and the convenience is lower.  Customers who have long-term relationships with their pharmacy and/or pharmacist must now make changes and are forced to build new relationships.

One step being taken by Walgreens to minimize disruption is to offer a special discount on annual membership for the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens.  This programs gives members discounts on many name brand and generic drugs and adds up to a significant savings for many Walgreens customers.  It also allows you to save on flu shots, asthma and diabetes supplies, and more. This will allow members like the military to save money.

To get some of the latest information you should consider visiting Walgreens on Twitter.

One way you can support Walgreens is by liking Walgreens on Facebook You can also call your local media to talk about your disgust of this situation.

0 Planning a vacation budget

Planning a vacation budget well in advance has many advantages. Not only will you be better organized and less likely to run into problems, but you will end up spending less if you can plan in advance how to divide your money. A travel budget is more than just a list of prices for plane tickets and hotel rooms and includes everything that you will be spending your money on once you are away from home.
