My mother in law bought me the Cloud B Gentle Giraffe On The Go Travel Sound Machine as a baby gift for our newest arrival. I wasn't all that intrigued with it to begin, but now I think it will come in very handy. The giraffe right off the bat is cute! He is also extremely soft, and while he has a power board that is in his back, it can be removed to make him cuddly! He is the perfect addition that you can add to a baby's room though to help them sleep. There are four sound modes on the giraffe: Play, Calm, Relax and Sleep. Each mood has different music that repeats over and over. Our favorite is the sleep mood. It sounds like a river running, or white noise. We already sleep with white noise in our room, so we want our daughter to get used to that as well. There is a timer on the Cloud B Gentle Giraffe On The Go Travel Sound Machine. The first setting is for 23 minutes and the next is for 45. There is also a round knob that serves as the on/off switch and the volume control. There is a velcro strap on the back of the giraffe making him truly perfect for being on the go. He could easily be strapped to a car seat handle or stroller handle. We plan on taking the Cloud B Gentle Giraffe On The Go Travel Sound Machine with us when we go on vacation.

For the price, it isn't something that we will purchase regularly. However, I am still interested in trying some of the other flavors - they have nine in all.
