This is a picture of my cucumber plants one week ago, they are already twice this size now. My kids love to eat sliced cucumbers sprinkled with just a bit of salt, and of course I love them in salad. Macaroni salad, tossed salad, potato salad, cukes are good in just about anything. I get my fertilizer this week, and then they should really take off.

I read a funny story this morning about a cat called Lexi.

His owner took him and a female cat to the vets, the female to be neutered and Lexi to be castrated.

But it seems that Lexi was not too keen on losing his manhood and he escaped by jumping through an open window!!

Sadly it is not all that funny as Lexi has still not returned home - do you think he may be sowing his wild oats while he can!!!
